2. Services Provided

Wired Up Electric provides residential and light commercial electrical services including, but not limited to:

General electrical repairs
Panel upgrades and replacements
EV charger installations
Whole-home generator installations
Smart panel upgrades
Surge protection
Sub-panel additions
Electrical efficiency assessments
Remodels and additions
Troubleshooting and service calls

All services are performed by licensed and insured electricians in the state of Utah.

3. Estimates, Quotes & Pricing

All quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Estimates are based on the information provided and may be adjusted if site conditions differ from expectations.
Labor is billed either at a flat rate, hourly rate, or project rate depending on the service requested.
Material pricing may vary based on availability and supplier increases.
Additional work requested by the client that is not included in the original quote will be billed as a change order.
Emergency, after-hours, or weekend rates may apply.

4. Booking, Scheduling & Cancellations

Appointments may be scheduled via phone, email, or through our website’s request form.
Appointment windows are estimates; technicians may arrive earlier or later due to job timing, emergencies, or traffic.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a service call fee.
If technicians cannot access the property upon arrival, a trip charge may apply.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise stated in writing.
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfer. (A credit card processing fee may apply.)
For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins.
Unpaid balances past 10 days may incur late fees.
Wired Up Electric reserves the right to pause or discontinue service if payment is not received as agreed.

6. Warranty

We stand behind our work.

Labor Warranty: 1-year warranty on workmanship from date of installation.
Material Warranty: Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied equipment and components.
Exclusions:
Customer-supplied materials
Normal wear and tear
Misuse, neglect, improper operation, or alterations by others
Damage caused by other contractors, pests, water, weather, or environmental factors

Warranties are void if invoices are unpaid.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

Provide safe and unobstructed access to the work area
Notify us of any known hazards (asbestos, mold, unstable structures, etc.)
Ensure pets are secured
Disclose existing electrical issues, previous work, or relevant system history when possible

We are not liable for pre-existing electrical problems or code violations that may be discovered during the job.

8. Permits & Code Compliance

All work performed by Wired Up Electric follows the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable Utah/local building codes.
Permits, when required, will either be pulled by us or the homeowner depending on project type and city rules.
Inspection failures due to pre-existing issues or homeowner-provided materials are not our responsibility.

9. Liability & Limitations

Wired Up Electric is not liable for:

Damages caused by existing faulty wiring or previous unlicensed work
Loss of use, downtime, or business interruption
Hidden conditions behind walls, ceilings, or underground
Damage caused by equipment failure outside our control
Delays caused by supply chain issues, permit delays, or weather

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
